Frank Wartenberg
President, Central Europe
Frank Wartenberg is president, Central Europe, responsible for IMS Health operations in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He assumed this role in January 2011.
Since joining IMS Health in 2004, Frank has held management positions of increasing responsibility, most recently serving as general manager of Germany. Prior to that, he led IMS Health’s Commercial Effectiveness consulting practice in Europe from 2007 to 2009, and also served for three years as consulting country principal in Germany.
Prior to IMS Health, Frank was the general manager and co-founder of scicon, a healthcare consulting company. An industry thought leader, he is a regular contributor to international and national journals on marketing and sales strategy.
Frank holds a degree in management science and operations research, and a doctorate in economics, from the University of Karlsruhe, Germany.
