  • Brad Ryan is general manager, Payer and Provider Solutions for IMS Health, responsible for IMS Health's information and analytics, technology platforms and services offerings to healthcare payers and providers worldwide.

    Brad joined IMS Health in February 2012 as vice president, Strategy and Business Development. Prior to that, he worked at McKinsey & Company, where he served as a leader in the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Products Practice since 2005. Most recently, he was associate principal, responsible for driving strategy and growth engagements for clients across the healthcare value chain. Brad has worked with major provider, pharma, retail pharmacy, and medical products & technology organizations to design and implement a variety of commercial, development, and productivity initiatives. He is an industry thought leader on a diverse range of healthcare topics, and also has applied technology to create innovative analytics and knowledge-based solutions for healthcare clients. Brad started his career as a physician with the Department of General Surgery, University of Alabama – Birmingham.

    Brad holds a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alabama, and an M.D. degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
