  • Seyed Mortazavi is president, U.S., responsible for IMS Health operations in the country. He was named to this position in December 2011.

    Previously, Seyed served for a year as president, North Europe and Africa. Since joining IMS Health in 1996, he has held sales and business management roles of increasing responsibility in the Americas and Europe, Middle East and Africa regions, culminating in his appointment as president of EMEA in July 2010. Prior to that, he served as general manager for U.K., Ireland and South Africa. From 2007 to 2009, he led the U.S. commercial team in the U.S. Seyed also served in a variety of sales leadership positions for the company, including U.K. sales director and subsequently, vice president, Sales, EMEA.

    Earlier, Seyed was European key account director, healthcare for Datamonitor, a company providing market analysis across several industry sectors. He began his career with Premier Farnell in Europe, where he held positions in the finance, management information services and commercial sectors.

    Seyed holds a B.Sc. degree in Economics with honors from the University of Sussex.
